Hunt Family Bluegrass is a hard driving bluegrass band from Orlando,
Oklahoma.
They have performed at various venues over the last several years including
many festivals, events, concerts and churches.
Hunt Family Bluegrass includes Terry Hunt (guitar),
Leanne Hunt (bass), Andrew Hunt (mandolin,
fiddle), and Jonathan Hunt (banjo).
Hunt Family Bluegrass has been performing together since 2004.
Terry grew up in the Ozarks of North Arkansas and learned to play
the banjo and guitar at an early age. In addition to playing guitar
with HFB he is the manager of the flight program at Oklahoma
State University. He has recently completed his Doctorate in
Aviation and Space Education. Leanne grew up in a very musical
family on a dairy farm in Central Missouri. She plays a 1947 Kay M1
bass with HFB. She also enjoys playing the piano and flute.
He also plays The guitar. His mandolin is hand made by Eduard
Kristufek from the Czech Republic.
Jonathan, 15, plays banjo and sings harmony vocals for HFB.
He also plays guitar on occasion. He started playing banjo
when he was 7. His banjo is a Hunt RB-75 that John Hickman
and he built in 2008.

Hunt Family Bluegrass started recording their first self-titled CD in
2005 and it It included many Bluegrass and Gospel cuts
including Andrew and Jonathan's original song, "Blue and All
Alone." In May of 2006 HFB won the KSMU Youth in Bluegrass
Band Competition held each year at Silver Dollar City in
Branson, Missouri. In 2007 HFB started recording their second
album, an all Gospel project entitled "Preachin' Prayin' Singin'." It
was finished in January of 2008.
In October of 2008 HFB began recording their newest
Bluegrass project, "This Old House," which was released in
April of 2009. In July of 2009 they came out with their
all-instrumental CD, entitled "Buffalo Nickel-Bluegrass
Instrumentals.

lead and harmony vocals.
He began playing Fiddle
when he was seven and
started with the mandolin
shortly thereafter.
